12,500 new corps members have undergone Coronavirus test – PTF

The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has announced that out of the 66,000 prospective corps members for the 2020 Batch B mobilization, 12,500 have undergone tests for the disease. 

This was disclosed by the PTF National Coordinator, Sani Aliyu during a briefing in Abuja. Aliyu further reiterated that international graduates who would be travelling into the country for the NYSC exercise should not undermine the need to undergo the seven days compulsory self-isolation before going into the NYSC orientation camp.

He also advised against non-essential international travels during the pandemic.
