UNIBEN declares lecture free days for 100 level students

The Orientation Programme for the newly admitted students in the 2025/2026 Academic Session has been scheduled for Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th January, 2026 by 8.00 am daily at the Akin Deko Auditorium.

In view of the above, the Vice Chancellor has approved that Monday 26th and Tuesday, 27th January, 2026 should be lecture free days for 100 Level and 200 Level Direct Entry Students, in order to ensure their full and focused participation in all the activities slated for the Programme.

Similarly, in consonance with the earlier Circular dated 21st January, 2026 on the 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony, Wednesday 28th January, 2025, has been approved as lecture free day for 100 Level and 200 Level Direct Entry Students to enable them participate fully in the Ceremony.

Kindly note this development, and disseminate across the Faculties, Schools and Institutes for necessary compliance as appropriate.
