AAU notice on prohibition of unwholesome practices during matriculation

Information reaching the University Management has it that some students usually engage in unwholesome practices during Matriculation within and outside the University environment such as splashing of water, flogging with leaves cut from trees, line up parade, etc

Consequently, all concerned are hereby advised to desist from indulging in such unwholesome practices as anyone found culpable will be sanctioned in line with the student's disciplinary code. All new students are encouraged not to allow anyone to intimidate or coerce them into any act that is contrary to the laid down rules of the University guiding the good conduct of students.

Please, be informed that the University Management has put measures in place to ensure a peaceful ceremony and proper monitoring.
