The Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Professor Mrs. Eunice Ebohserhiemen Omozoje, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, and students, has extended her best wishes to all students as they commence their second-semester examinations.

In a special bulletin released on Monday, 17th November 2025, the University Management reaffirmed that the long-standing Senate policy prohibiting wild jubilation or celebrations within and outside the campus during or after examinations remains fully in force.

The notice emphasized a total ban on wild jubilation of any kind, listing prohibited acts such as:

1. Pouring of water, sand, or drinks

2. Motor, bike, or bicycle parades

3. Consumption of alcohol, loud shouting, hooting, dancing, or any activity that may lead to disorderliness or criminal behavior

4. Playing of music or crowds gathering around the Administrative Building for celebration

The University warned that any student or group who engages in such acts will face severe sanctions, which may include the cancellation of examinations.

Students were urged to look forward to celebrating their graduation at the official university convocation ceremony instead.

The Management also reminded the university community that the law prohibiting students from driving cars into the campus is still active, and defaulters will be punished accordingly.

Parents, friends, and well-wishers have been advised to stay away from campus during the ongoing second-semester examinations to ensure a peaceful and distraction-free environment.
