AAU Student Allegedly Kidnapped in Kogi State, Abductors Demand N100m Ransom

An 18-year-old student of Ambrose Alli University (AAU) has allegedly been kidnapped by gunmen, on Monday, October 26, while traveling to Kogi state. 

The kidnap victim, Adebayo Oluwatomiyin Oyiza, a 200-level student of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, was kidnapped in Okene area of Kogi state, and her abductors are reportedly demanding a ransom of N100m.

The story was shared by friends of Oyiza on Twitter, as they called on concerned authorities to help secure her release.
