ABSU approves commencement of 2024/2025 session

Senate of Abia State University, at its 278th Regular meeting, held on Wednesday, 26th February, 2025, approved the commencement of the 2024/2025 academic session on Monday 3rd March, 2025, when all fresh students are expected to arrive.

Old students will return on Saturday, 8th March, 2025, while First Semester Lectures will commence on Monday, 10th March, 2025.

Senate also approved that movement of the Faculties of Law and Agriculture, Umuahia location, to the main campus, Uturu, will be effective the end of the First Semester, 2024/2025 Academic Session.

Please, note that only bonafide students of the University who have paid their fees and registered their courses, as appropriate, will be eligible to enjoy facilities in the University.

The Students, Parents, Guardians and the Public are to note and be properly guided.
