The Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University, Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, on behalf of Governing authorities of the University, cordially invites the academia, parents, guardians and well-wishers to the activities marking the 29th Convocation ceremony of the University for the 2021/2022 set of graduands.

Day one: Tuesday, 24th January 2023

• Pre-Convocation Press briefing by the Vice-Chancellor

Day two: Wednesday, 25th January 2023

• Book and Arts Exhibition
• Novelty football match

Day three: Thursday, 26th January 2023

• Pre-Convocation Lecture by Chief (Dr.) Mike A. A. Ozekhome, SAN
  Venue: University Auditorium
  Time: 11.00am

Day four: Friday, 27th January 2023

• Commissioning of projects by the Executive Governor of Abia State and Visitor to the University, His Excellency Okezie Victor Ikpeazu,
  PhD
• Conferment of First Degrees, Higher Degrees, Professor Emeritus, Presentation of prizes and Honorary Doctorate Degrees on the
  following:
  • His Excellency, Barrister Ezenwo Wike, CON
    Executive Governor of Rivers State
  • Chief Dr. Mike Ozekhome, SAN
  • Chief Dr Reginald Stanley
  • Apostle (Mrs) Folorunsho Alakija
