ABSU dismisses staff involved in s*x-for-grades, admission fraud
A senior lecturer and former Acting Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Michael Ukaegbu has been sacked by the management of Abia State University, Uturu, over his alleged involvement in a sex-for-grades scandal.
His dismissal was contained in a statement issued after the institution's Governing Council 148th regular and resumed meetings held on Thursday, the 16th, and the 20th of December 2021, presided over by the Pro-Chancellor, Adolphus Wabara.
The university Registrar, Acho Elendu also disclosed that the Council also approved the dismissal of another staff, Mr Leonard Chukwuma for alleged admission fraud and racketeering.
