ABSU issues notice ahead of the planned nationwide protest

This is to inform all students of the Abia State University that the Senate has stressed the need for Safety of Staff and Students of the University during the planned nationwide protest, effective 1st August, 2024.

Senate has therefore, approved one-week Revision/Lecture free in the University effective 31st July, 2024, to enable Students adequately prepare for the forthcoming 2023/2024 First Semester examinations, scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 13th August, 2024.

Staff and Students of the University are further advised to avoid frivolous travels during this period.
