ABSU Announces Mid-semester Break

ABSU Midsemester Break: The Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University, on behalf of the University Authorities, has approved a Mid-Semester Break for all students to vacate the University Campuses from Monday, 11th February To Tuesday 5th March, 2019, to enable the University embark on major repairs across the campuses, especially at Igwi River, the main source of water supply to the University which has broken down.

This is to avoid acute shortage of water on campus and consequent environmental degradation.
Students are given up to Tuesday 12th February, 2019, to vacate the university Campuses.

There will be no lecture during this period. All students are required to return to their Campuses on Tuesday, 5th March,2019, when normal Academic activities will resume.
