ABSU releases first semester exam timetable, 2025/2026

This is to inform all students of the Abia State University (ABSU) that the school management has released the approved First Semester Examination Timetable for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

SUNDRY NOTES:

​Conduct of Examinations:

​All examinations will be conducted on a Departmental Basis.

​Departmental Lecturers will serve as invigilators.

​For Inter-Faculty, Faculty, and Inter-Departmental courses: Invigilators must arrive at host departments 30 minutes before the exam to collect papers and administer them to students in their respective departments. Scripts must be returned to host departments no later than 30 minutes after the exam.

​Student Location: All students must remain in their own departments for exams, except for students in Education, Agriculture & Food Science (main campus), and Library Science, who will join their host departments.

​Venue Allocations:

​Faculty of Agric: Umuahia location (except main campus students).

​Faculties of Biological and Physical Sciences: Faculty Blocks/Labs, Exam Hall, and Lecture East.

​Faculty of Education: Edu Block and old Law Block.

​Faculties of Environmental and Engineering: Faculty Blocks/Studios and CRES.

​Faculty of Business Administration: Business Block & ETF Building.

​Faculties of Health Sciences & Basic Medicine: Medical/Optometry blocks.

​Faculty of Law: Umuahia location.

​Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences: Faculty Blocks, Direct Labour halls, Lecture West & Cafeteria.

​Time Allocations:

​Morning: 9:00 am – 11:00 am

​Afternoon: 11:30 am – 2:00 pm

​Evening: 4:00 pm

​Committee Note: The University Time Table Committee solicits the co-operation of all for a smooth, hitch-free, serene, and orderly examination.
