ABU announces closure for Christmas and New Year holidays

In accordance with the Federal Government’s declaration for the Christmas and New Year celebrations, the Management of Ahmadu Bello University has announced that the institution will close on Thursday, 25th December 2025.

Regular academic and administrative activities are scheduled to resume on Monday, 5th January 2026.

However, staff members providing essential services are required to report for duty as directed by their respective Heads of Department.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adamu Ahmed, extended his season’s greetings to the entire university community.
