ABU SRC update on Add-and-Drop portal resolution with management

The University Management has confirmed that the Add-and-Drop Portal will not be reopened. Students are advised to utilize alternative administrative channels for any necessary course adjustments.

Procedure for Course Adjustments

Students with valid and genuine reasons for adding or dropping courses must follow the manual procedure outlined below:

• Submit a formal request through your respective Head of Department (HOD).
• Requests will undergo a thorough review at the departmental level.
• HODs will provide recommendations to the Management based on the specific merits of each case.

Intervention for Students Affected by NELFUND Delays

Special provisions have been made for students who could not complete registration due to delays in NELFUND support. Affected individuals are advised to submit their relevant details to their Faculty SRC Chairpersons. Further guidance and interventions will be communicated through faculty-specific channels.

Deadline for Compliance

All students affected by these issues must comply with these instructions and complete their submissions on or before 4:00 PM, Monday, 27th April, 2026. The SRC emphasizes the importance of prompt action to facilitate timely consideration of all cases.
