ABU SRC addresses students concern regarding cost of sachet water prices on campus

The Welfare and Price Regulation Committee of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) at Ahmadu Bello University has responded to growing concerns over the recent increase in the price of sachet (pure) water across the Samaru Campus.

In a press release dated March 31, 2026, the committee acknowledged the hardship the price hike poses to students, especially amid prevailing economic challenges. The statement assured students that the issue is being treated with urgency and seriousness.
