Adeleke University announces 5th inaugural lecture

Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, has announced its 5th Inaugural Lecture, scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

The lecture, which forms part of the university’s academic tradition of showcasing scholarly excellence and intellectual contributions of its professors, will be held at the Performing Arts Theatre by 12:00 noon.

The inaugural lecture is titled:

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Adegbite Oluwademilade Tobalase, a distinguished scholar and Professor of African Literature, Culture and Cultural Studies in the Department of Languages and Literary Studies.

Professor Tobalase is widely recognized for his contributions to literary scholarship and cultural studies, and the lecture is expected to provide deep insights into African literary expression, interdisciplinary scholarship, and cultural intersections.

The event will be held under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Solomon Ajayi Adebola, while the Registrar, Mr. Gbadegesin Oladiti Lawal, will serve as the Secretary to the ceremony.
