ADSU notice on collection of gown for the 21st matriculation ceremony

The Management of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, has released guidelines for the collection of academic gowns ahead of the 21st Matriculation Ceremony.

In a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar (Academic Division) and signed by the Academic Secretary, Abubakar Ahmed Vokna, all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session are directed to collect their gowns from their respective Faculty Offices.

The collection will begin on Wednesday, 28th January 2026, by 10:00 am. The ceremony itself is scheduled for Friday, 30th January 2026.

Requirements for Collection:

Students must present the following documents at their Faculty Office:

1. A photocopy of a duly signed and stamped registration payment receipt.

2. A photocopy of their admission letter.

Key Instructions:

· The issuance of academic gowns is free of charge.

· Collection by proxy is strictly prohibited; all students must appear in person.

· Gowns must be returned to the issuing Faculty on or before Tuesday, 3rd February 2026.

· Students are warned that late return or damage to the gowns will attract penalties.

The university administration has urged all newly admitted students to comply strictly with the directives to ensure a smooth matriculation exercise.
