ADUSTECH postpones mid-semester break, merges It with sallah break

Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil has announced the postponement of its First Semester Mid-Semester Break for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a memo issued by the Senate Secretariat and dated 14 February 2026, the university explained that the break—earlier scheduled to hold from Monday, 16 February to Sunday, 22 February 2026—has been postponed and merged with the Sallah break.

According to the memo, the combined break will now take place from 16 March to 24 March 2026. The decision was approved by the Chairman of the Senate due to delays in the commencement of lectures in some courses and the fast-approaching fasting period of the month of Ramadan.

All faculties, departments, units, and members of the university community have been directed to take note of the new arrangement and comply accordingly.
