ADUSTECH SUG notice to Graduated Students on refund of NELFUND Payments

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil has issued an important notice regarding the refund of NELFUND payments for students who graduated during the 2024/2025 academic session.

According to the statement released on March 15, 2026, the refund process is being updated due to delays in receiving a comprehensive list of graduates from some departments. The list includes students who completed their studies during the 2024/2025 session, including those who had resit examinations.

The union clarified that all graduates who benefited from the 2025/2026 Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) cycle are eligible for refunds once their graduation status is properly verified.

Steps for Refund Processing

All affected graduates are required to follow the steps below to facilitate the refund process:

• Obtain a Graduation Clearance from their respective academic department.
• Submit the obtained clearance to the Centre for Information and Communication Technology (CICT).

The SUG explained that once the clearance documents are submitted and successfully verified, refunds will be processed immediately and paid directly into the student's registered bank account, provided the individual is confirmed as a beneficiary of the 2025/2026 NELFUND cycle.

Students are therefore advised to complete the required steps promptly to avoid further delays in receiving their refunds.
