AFIT announces 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Combined Convocation ceremony

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, has announced its 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Combined Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 28th March 2026. The event will be held at the Ibrahim Alfa Auditorium, located within the NAF Base in Kaduna, commencing at 9:30 AM.

The convocation ceremony will be preceded by a lecture on Friday, 27th March 2026, at the same venue. The lecture, titled "The Role of Public-Private Partnership in Developing Nigeria’s Aerospace Industry," is set to begin at 12 noon and will be delivered by Dr. B. Echefu, Chairman of the ERB Group.

According to the program of events, the Guest of Honour for the occasion is General C.G. Musa (Rtd), OFR, the Honourable Minister of Defence. The event will be hosted by the Commandant of AFIT, Air Vice Marshal A.K. Ademuwagun, who holds several professional certifications including a CISSP and PhD.

The ceremony, which combines three convocations, will be held under the theme: "Harnessing Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Aerospace Development in Nigeria."

In a significant announcement for the graduating students, the institute has stated that all graduands will receive their certificates immediately after the convocation ceremony.
