AFUED SUG issues important notice to students who applied for NELFUND

The Students' Union Government of the Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) under the leadership of Comr. Aniefiok Gideon aka Kuwait, wishes to address growing concerns among students regarding the NELFund student loan disbursement and the refund process for tuition fees. We are glad to inform you that 506 students who registered during the 2023/2024 academic session have successfully been disbursed for under the student loan scheme.

We are also aware that some of these beneficiaries had already paid their tuition fees before the disbursement. PLEASE BE ASSURED THAT THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IS ACTIVELY WORKING ON THE MODALITIES TO REFUND SUCH PAYMENTS DIRECTLY INTO THE STUDENTS' PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNTS.

The process is being handled with due diligence to ensure accuracy and accountability. We therefore appeal to all affected students to remain calm and allow the institution to complete the necessary procedures. The Union is fully involved and will continue to follow up until every eligible student is duly attended to. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
