AFUSTA SUG disclaimer notice on suspension of the president

This is to officially clarify the recent information circulating regarding the alleged suspension of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) President by the Students’ Representative Assembly (SRA).

​The purported suspension is not legitimate and therefore holds no effect. As such, the SUG President remains duly recognized, fully active, and continues to function in his official capacity as the sitting President of the Students’ Union Government.

​We also wish to inform the entire student body that the Student Affairs Division has already intervened and taken appropriate action concerning the matter. The Division is currently handling the situation and will further communicate officially to students in due course with a comprehensive clarification regarding all issues surrounding the incident.

​Students are therefore advised to remain calm, avoid spreading misinformation, and await official updates from the appropriate authorities.
