AGIF Scholarship for Nigerian Students (undergraduates, Secondary and Primary)

The Alex and Grace Izinyon Foundation launched the AGIF Scholarship to support Nigerian students at all educational levels. The AGIF Project A500 Scholarship aims to give 200 students at Nigerian universities, 200 students in secondary schools, and 100 students in primary schools financial assistance.

Value of Scholarship: The AGIF scholarship will provide financial support to:

200 students in tertiary institutions
200 students in secondary schools
100 pupils in primary schools

The scholarship will assist with tuition, learning materials, and other academic needs.

About the Award: The AGIF Undergraduate Scholarship (Project A500) is an initiative of the Alex and Grace Izinyon Foundation, aimed at supporting underprivileged Nigerian students. For 2025, the scholarship will benefit a total of 500 students across three educational levels—200 tertiary (undergraduate), 200 secondary, and 100 primary school students. The program is part of AGIF’s commitment to education and community empowerment through financial support. Since its inception over five years ago, AGIF has positively impacted more than 3,000 lives across 23 states in Nigeria.

Field of Study: All fields of study at the undergraduate level are eligible, provided applicants are enrolled in public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

Scholarship Type: Undergraduate, Secondary, Primary Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria – Undergraduate Category

Must be a Nigerian citizen.
Must be currently enrolled or about to be enrolled in a public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
Returning students must have a CGPA of 3.5 or higher.
Freshers must have scored 220 or above in their JAMB examination.
Priority will be given to:

Candidates from single-parent households with an income not exceeding ₦150,000/month,  and more than two children.
Families with at least three children in school, with a combined parental income not exceeding ₦150,000/month.

Eligibility – Primary & Secondary Students

Must be enrolled or enrolling in a public primary or secondary school in Nigeria.
Must have a cumulative term average of at least 70%.
Same financial criteria apply as in the undergraduate category.
