AKSU announces 16th Matriculation Ceremony

Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has officially announced the date for its 16th matriculation ceremony, inviting staff members, students, and the entire university community to participate in the event.

The invitation was conveyed by the Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of Senate, Prof. Otoabasi E. Akpan, through a formal notice issued by the Office of the Registrar.

According to the statement, the matriculation ceremony is scheduled to hold as follows:

• Date: Friday, April 24, 2026
• Time: 12:00 noon
• Venue: AKSU Sports Ground, Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden

Members of the university community are expected to be seated by 11:30 a.m. prompt, ahead of the commencement of the ceremony.

The management expressed that the presence of invited guests and participants will be highly appreciated as the institution formally welcomes newly admitted students into the academic community.

The notice was signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Senate, Dr. Ebi G. Eno-Ibanga.
