AKSU reschedules 16th matriculation ceremony, Inaugural Lecture

This is to bring to the notice of Akwa Ibom State University Community, Staff, students, Stakeholders and the General Public that the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Otobong E. Akpan has announced the rescheduling of the following events as indicated below:

1. Inaugural Lecture by Professor Edna A. Akpan

Date: Thursday, March 19, 2026

Venue: Senate Building, Main Champus, Ikot Akpaden, Mpat Enin L.G.A.

Time: 2 p.m.

2. The 16th Matriculation Ceremony

Date: Friday, April 24, 2026

The change in the earlier dates is consequent upon the forthcoming public holiday to mark the “Eid-el Fitr Celebration”.

The Vice-Chancellor has on behalf of the Senate invited the general public to the events.
