AKSU Undergraduates Drowned in a Lake

Two students of Akwa Ibom State University AKSU, Ibiye Duke Nicholas Silas and another identified as Daniel over the weekend got drowned in a lake while on a picnic.

The two first year students who are in the Department of Marine Engineering and Civil Engineering respectively were said to have gone into the lake with other students and never re-emerged.

This sent panic among the other students who contacted the University’s Medical team who went in search of the two but just their bodies were recovered.
