Akwa Ibom State 35th Anniversary Essay Competition 2022

In an effort to encourage and reward intellectually savvy indigenes of the state, the Akwa Ibom State Government is sponsoring an Essay Competition with the theme “Akwa Ibom: The Land of Limitless Possibilities” as part of festivities to commemorate the state’s 35th Anniversary of State Creation.

The essay competition, organised by the Ministry of Information and Strategy, is accessible to all Akwa Ibom undergraduates enrolled in universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

According to the Hon. Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Com. Ini Ememobong, contestants must submit a 3,000-word essay on the aforementioned topic, typed double spaced, and delivered as a Microsoft Word attachment to the email address [email protected], along with proof of studentship.

Laptops, books, and cash are among the prizes available.
