Akwa Ibom State Poly Appoints Dr. Ubon Obonguko as Dean of Applied Sciences

The Management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has formally announced the appointment of Dr. Ubon Obonguko as the new Dean of the School of Applied Sciences.

Until his recent elevation, Dr. Obonguko served as the Head of the Department of Software and Web Development. During his tenure as HOD, he was widely recognized for his outstanding administrative capacity, academic rigor, and an unwavering commitment to driving technological advancement within the department.

Management noted that this appointment serves as a testament to his long-standing dedication, robust leadership experience, and the invaluable contributions he has made toward the institutional growth of the Polytechnic.

In his new role, Dr. Obonguko is expected to provide visionary leadership aimed at strengthening academic standards, fostering a culture of innovation, and promoting excellence across all departments under the School of Applied Sciences.
