Akwa Poly notice to NDI and HNDI students on Library orientation exercise

The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has announced a two-day mandatory library orientation exercise for all National Diploma (ND I) and Higher National Diploma (HND I) students, both full-time and part-time.

In a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar and signed by Godswill E. Udofah, MNIM, Acting Registrar, the institution stated that the orientation is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 20th to Wednesday, 21st January 2026 at the Polytechnic Library Conference Hall.

According to the notice, the exercise aims to promote reading habits and acquaint students with the available resources and services offered by the Polytechnic Library.

The circular emphasized that the orientation is compulsory for all affected students. To ensure full participation, the Polytechnic has declared each day of the exercise as lecture, test, and examination-free for students in the respective schools.

The management has also called for wide publicity of the notice to ensure all concerned students are adequately informed.

The circular, referenced AKP/R/S/100, was addressed to all ND I and HND I students of the institution.
