Akwa Ibom Poly approved fees, 2025/2026

The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has officially released the approved summary of fees for the first and second semesters of the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to the document signed by the Registrar, Mr. Godswill Udofah (MNIM), the fees vary for Indigenes, Other Nigerians, and Non-Nigerians across all programmes — ND I, ND II, HND I, and HND II.

Below are the approved total fees for the 2025/2026 session:

The document also includes details for extra time students, with corresponding semester and sessional fees.

Mode of Payment and Portal Process

Students are to:

1. Obtain clearance/authority from their departments before making payments at any commercial bank.

2. Visit the school portal — www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng — to create an account or verify their details.

3. Generate a Remita invoice through the portal and make payments via the Remita platform.

4. Complete their profile details and print payment receipts for verification.

Acceptance Fee

All newly admitted students are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦15,000.00 at any commercial bank in Nigeria using the Remita platform.

Additional Notes

Students must submit two copies of the Remita School Fee e-receipt and Acceptance Fee receipt, along with one coloured passport photograph, before receiving admission letters.

Any loss of a fee receipt attracts a fine of ₦1,000.00.

Departmental fees are to be paid into relevant departmental accounts.

This announcement marks the official commencement of the fee payment process for both returning and newly admitted students of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic for the 2025/2026 session.
