Akwa Poly notice to ND I and HND I students

The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, has announced a compulsory seminar on Risk, Safety and Security Management for ND I (Full-Time and Akwapoly Consult) and HND I students.

According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar and dated 8th January, 2026, the seminar will take place from Thursday, 15th to Friday, 16th January, 2026, at the New Auditorium (TETFund 2019/2020).

The institution emphasized that attendance is mandatory, noting that only students who attend the seminar will be issued certificates.

Seminar Schedule

Thursday, 15th January, 2026 – ND I Students

Applied Sciences, Engineering Technology, Environmental Studies: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Communication Arts, Business & Management: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Friday, 16th January, 2026 – HND I Students

Applied Sciences, Engineering Technology, Environmental Studies: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Communication Arts, Business & Management: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Management further stated that each day allocated to a particular school has been declared lecture, test, and examination-free for the affected ND I and HND I students.
