Akwa Poly reschedules Matriculation Ceremony, 2025/2026

This is to inform all registered students (ND1 Full-Time/Akwapoly Consult) and indeed the Polytechnic Community that the 31st Matriculation Ceremony of the Institution earlier scheduled for Thursday, 19th March, 2026 has rescheduled for Tuesday, 24th March, 2026 at the Polytechnic Convocation Ground by 11.00 am.

This rescheduling became necessary to enable Staff and Students of the Polytechnic to mark the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration on Thursday, 19th and Friday, 20 March, 2026 as declared by the Federal Government.

Please note that only students who have paid fees and registered in their respective Departments would be allowed to take part in the Ceremony.

Consequently, Heads of Departments are by this circular informed that collection of Academic Gowns from the Central Stores for distribution to the matriculating students has been extended to Monday, 23rd March, 2026.
