Al-Hikmah University hostel accommodation update for final-year students

The management of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, has released an important update on hostel accommodation availability for final-year students as of 16 December 2025.

According to the notice, several hostels have limited bed spaces, while many others are already fully occupied. The available spaces are distributed across selected male and female hostels as detailed below:

Hostels with Available Bed Spaces

Male: Surulere – 18 spaces (Adeta)

Female: Atere New – 6 spaces (Atere)

Male: Wamy – 28 spaces (Adewole)

Female: Founders 1 & 2 – 115 spaces (Atere)

Male: Founders 3 & 4 – 23 spaces (Atere)

Female: Julius Okojie A & B – 20 spaces (Atere)

Male: Continental – 9 spaces (Adewole)

Female: Igbaja Old – 86 spaces (Igbaja)

Male: Igbaja Old – 31 spaces (Igbaja)

Female: Masari – 61 spaces (Igbaja)

Female: MBBS Hostel – 114 spaces (Atere)

All other listed hostels, including Commassie, Owaish, Deremi, International hostels, Private hostels, Igbaja Annex, and International Annex, currently have no available bed spaces.

The university further emphasized that hostel accommodation is mandatory for final-year students in the following faculties and levels:

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences – 400 Level

Faculty of Management Sciences – 400 Level

Faculty of Education – 400 Level

Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences – 400 Level

Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Technology – 400 & 500 Levels

Faculty of Law – 400 & 500 Levels

Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences – 400 & 500 Levels

Faculty of Nursing Sciences – 400 & 500 Levels

Faculty of Agriculture – 400 & 500 Levels

Students are advised to act promptly to secure available spaces where applicable.
