All Africa University Games 2024 ends - See the medal List

The All Africa University Games (FASU 2024) concluded on Sunday, September 29, 2024, with widespread praise for the co-hosts, the University of Lagos and Lagos State University, for exceeding expectations despite the challenging economic situation in Nigeria. 

The nine-day continental sporting event culminated in the following final medal standings show that the American University, Cairo, Egypt secured the top position with a dominant performance, claiming 46 Gold, 28 Silver, and 8 Bronze medals. Lagos State University emerged as the first runner-up with 28 Gold, 30 Silver, and 26 Bronze medals. The University of Lagos rounded out the top three, securing the second runner-up position with 25 Gold, 33 Silver, and 40 Bronze medals.
