AAU announces commencement of sales of form for 2026 SUG Election

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) Electoral Commission at Ambrose Alli University has officially announced the commencement of the sale of nomination forms for the upcoming 2026 SUG elections.

Interested candidates can obtain their forms starting tomorrow, March 24, 2026. The sales period will run daily from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Student Conference Centre (ELECOM Office), concluding on April 2, 2026.

Form Pricing

The commission has set the following fees for the various elective positions:

• President: ₦55,000
• Vice President: ₦50,000
• Secretary General: ₦50,000
• Assistant Secretary General: ₦40,000
• Financial Secretary: ₦35,000
• Director of Information: ₦30,000
• Director of Social: ₦30,000
• Director of Welfare: ₦30,000
• Director of Sports: ₦30,000

Note: All aspirants are strictly advised to submit their completed forms on or before the April 2, 2026, deadline. The commission has emphasized that no submissions will be accepted after this date.
