Aminu Saleh College of Education Issues notice to students on NELFUND

The Management of Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, has issued an important notice to all students who applied for and benefited from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

In a circular released by the Office of the Registrar on 6th March, 2026, the College informed beneficiaries that funds recently received from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund have been paid directly into the College’s account for the settlement of beneficiaries’ school fees, in accordance with the provisions of the NELFUND Act.

According to the Registrar, Abdullahi Babbaji, all students who benefited from the loan scheme will be issued official receipts covering their school fees for the current academic session as evidence that payment has been successfully processed.

The notice also addressed students who had already paid their first semester registration fees before the NELFUND funds were released. The College explained that an administrative process has been established to ensure that such payments are refunded after proper verification.

Affected students are therefore advised to remain calm and cooperate with the College as the necessary documentation and refund procedures are being finalized.

The Management added that further information regarding the refund process and other related matters will be communicated to students through the appropriate official channels.
