ASCOEA announces closure of NELFUND portal for 2025/2026 session

The management of Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA) has announced the closure of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to an official circular released by the Office of the Registrar and dated 6th February, 2026, the NELFUND portal will be closed on Thursday, 27th February, 2026.

The College management emphasized that all students must complete their first semester registration for the 2025/2026 academic session, as this is a mandatory requirement before applying for the NELFUND loan.

Newly admitted students who have not completed their NELFUND applications have been advised to do so on or before the stated deadline, while returning students are encouraged to revisit their portals to ensure proper updates. The notice further stressed that no submissions will be accepted after the portal closure.

All students concerned have been urged to take note of the information and act accordingly.

The announcement was signed by Sunusi Jibo, for the Registrar, and copied to principal officers, the SUG President, and all notice boards.
