ATBU announces orientation exercise for SIWES students

The Directorate of Industrial Training Coordinating Unit (ITCU) at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has scheduled a mandatory orientation exercise for students set to embark on the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).

​In line with Federal Government and Industrial Training Fund (ITF) directives, the orientation ensures that all participating students are well-prepared for their industrial placement. The event will feature presentations from the Bauchi State ITF Area Manager and other key stakeholders.

​Attendance is strictly mandatory for SIWES-bound students from the following faculties:

​Faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology

​Faculty of Science

​Faculty of Management Sciences

​Faculty of Technology Education

​The notice, signed by Yahuza Haruna Gital, Deputy Registrar (ITCU) on behalf of the Director, emphasizes that this exercise is a prerequisite for proceeding with the scheme. Students are encouraged to be punctual and participate fully in the presentations
