ATBU extends deadline for NDLEA drug integrity test submission

The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has granted a semester-long extension for the submission of the mandatory National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Drug Integrity Test results.

In a memo dated 13th January, 2026, from the Office of the Registrar (Academic Division), the university stated that the extension was approved "on compassionate grounds" to allow both new and returning students adequate time to conduct the test.

Students are advised to proceed with their registration processes as usual. However, they must submit their Drug Integrity Test results on or before the end of the First Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The memo included a crucial caveat: semester results will only be accessible upon the submission of the required test result.
