ATBU re-opens undergraduate admission portal, 2025/2026

The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi has announced the reopening of its admission portal for physical screening. This development follows the recent extension of the admission exercise for public universities by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

According to a statement issued by the Registrar, Kabiru Garba Aminu, fnipr, on 3rd November 2025, the initiative aims to accommodate candidates who have not yet completed their admission procedures.

The university also disclosed that candidates would have the opportunity to change their course choices during the screening period. However, this change does not apply to certain programs due to capacity limits. Excluded courses include Medicine (MBBS), Nursing, Public Health, Veterinary Medicine, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Computer and Communications Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Computer Science.

The physical screening for all eligible candidates is scheduled to hold from 3rd to 10th November 2025 at the NCC Building, Gubi Campus, along Ningi-Kano Road, Bauchi.
