Auchi Polytechnic bans presence of Children in Offices and Classrooms
The management of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, has reiterated its prohibition of loitering and the presence of children in offices and classrooms during official hours.
In a circular issued to staff and students, the institution expressed concern over what it described as unethical practices involving individuals loitering within the premises and bringing their children into workspaces and lecture areas.
The management stated that such actions are not permitted under the institutionβs regulations and warned that they would no longer be tolerated.
According to the circular, all affected staff and students have been advised to desist from the practices with immediate effect.
It further noted that any violation of the directive would attract sanctions in accordance with the extant rules and regulations governing the polytechnic.
The institution urged all members of the academic community to comply strictly with the directive and conduct themselves appropriately within the schoolΒ environment.
