Al-Istiqama University announces admission into newly approved programmes, 2025/2026

The Management of Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila (AUSU), Kano State, has announced the approval of twenty-two (22) new undergraduate programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

In a release dated 5th November, 2025, the University stated that the new programmes span various faculties, including Arts, Social and Management Sciences; Basic Medical Sciences; Clinical Sciences; Engineering and Environmental Sciences; Health Sciences; Law; and Science and Computing.

Prospective candidates who participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and possess the required subject combinations are invited to apply for admission or change their institution of choice to Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila on the JAMB portal.
