Benue State University of Agriculture, Science & Tech. disclaimer notice to the general public

The attention of the Management of University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (UAST) Ihugh, Benue State has been drawn to a publication currently circulating with the heading:

"BSUAST COMMENCES FIRST YEAR (2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION) WITH THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMES"

While we appreciate the public interest and enthusiasm concerning the take-off of UAST Ihugh, the Management wishes to categorically state that the said publication did not originate from the official authorities of the University and does not represent an approved or final list of programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The process of finalizing academic programmes is currently under the purview of the appropriate regulatory bodies, including the National Universities Commission (NUC). Only after due approval by the relevant authorities shall the University release an official statement listing approved programmes and other academic activities.

The general public, prospective students, and stakeholders are therefore advised to disregard the said publication and await official announcements from the Management of UAST Ihugh through authorized communication channels.
