Benue State Education Quality Assurance and Examinations Board postpones 2026 BECE

The Benue State Education Quality Assurance and Examinations Board (BEQAEB) hereby informs all Principals, Proprietors, Parents, Guardians, Candidates, and other relevant Stakeholders that the earlier scheduled date of Monday, 18th May, 2026 for the commencement of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Consequently, a new date for the commencement of the examination shall be duly communicated to the public alongside the official release of the examination timetable.

The Board sincerely regrets any inconvenience this postponement may cause and appeals for the understanding and continued cooperation of all stakeholders.

BEQAEB remains committed to ensuring the conduct of a credible, transparent, and hitch-free examination process.
