BFederated Organisation of Sokoto State Students Association update on scholarship verification

On behalf of the Federated Organisation of Sokoto State Students Association (FOSOSSA), the apex umbrella representing Sokoto State students, the national leadership is pleased to announce a significant adjustment to the ongoing verification exercise at Sokoto State University.

Following numerous complaints regarding ongoing Continuous Assessment (C.A.) tests and other academic engagements, FOSOSSA successfully requested the Sokoto State Scholarship Board to grant students flexible access to the verification process. This ensures that no student is disadvantaged due to campus academic commitments.

Students may now present themselves on any of the four designated days based on their personal availability:

• Venue: Sokoto State Scholarship Board
• Dates: Wednesday, 8th April 2026 – Saturday, 11th April 2026
• Eligible Levels: UG1, UG2, UG3, UG4, and Spill-Over Students

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Failure to participate in this verification exercise means you will be responsible for paying your own school fees for the 2025/2026 academic session. Additionally, there will be no refunds for students who benefited from NELFUND but fail to appear for the verification.
