BSU commences Sales of Part-time Admission forms, 2025/2026 session
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Undergraduate Part-Time Programmes of the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi, for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
(A) PART-TIME DEGREE PROGRAMMES.
B.A. French, B.A. Linguistics, B.A. Philosophy, B.A. Religious Studies, B.Sc. Public Administration.
Mode of Application:
Candidates are required to process their admission through the University online portal at Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University Portal using their JAMB Registration Number. Candidates without JAMB Registration Numbers may register using their National Identification Number (NIN).
After processing admission through the JAMB portal, candidates are to pay a non-refundable Admission Processing Fee of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00) only via the University REMITA platform and thereafter proceed to the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) for further directives.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants may possess any of the following qualifications:
(i) Entry into 100 Level:
Minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
(ii) Entry into 200 Level:
IJMB, National Diploma (ND), or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), in addition to the O’Level requirements stated above.
(B) PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE COURSE (PCC).
This programme offers a Proficiency Certificate in Security and Forensic Studies.
Mode of Application:
Candidates are to obtain and process admission forms at the cost of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00) only at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must possess at least four (4) credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, Trade Test, or NABTEB examinations. Serving Military and Paramilitary Officers with requisite qualifications are also eligible for admission.
Duration:
The programme runs on a part-time basis for two semesters (6 months).
(C) BASIC CERTIFICATE COURSE (BCC).
This programme offers a Certificate in Basic Intelligence and Detective Studies.
Mode of Application:
Candidates are to obtain and process admission forms at the cost of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00) only at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
Entry Requirements:
Applicants shall possess any of the following qualifications: OND, NCE, HND and Bachelor’s Degree
Possession of higher qualifications in any field is an added advantage. Serving Military and Paramilitary Officers with requisite qualifications are also eligible for admission.
Duration:
The programme runs on a part-time basis for two semesters (6 months).
(D) ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL COURSE IN SECURITY AND FORENSIC STUDIES.

Medical Forensic Studies
Investigation/Intelligence Forensic Studies
Accounting/Auditing Forensic Studies
Cyber Security and Forensic Studies
Legal/Litigation Forensic Studies
Mode of Application:
Candidates are to obtain and process admission forms at the cost of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00) only at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
Entry Requirements:
Applicants may possess any of the following qualifications: RN, OND, NCE, HND, Bachelor’s Degree. Membership or Fellowship of recognized professional bodies is an added advantage. Serving Military and Paramilitary Officers with requisite qualifications are also eligible for admission.
Duration:
The programme runs on a part-time basis for two semesters (6 months).
(E) EXECUTIVE MANAGERIAL COURSE IN PEACE, RECONCILIATION AND SECURITY STUDIES
Mode of Application
Candidates are to obtain and process admission forms at the cost of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00) only at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess any of the following: OND, NCE, HND, Bachelor’s Degree
Advanced Professional Course Certificate
Equivalent qualifications from recognized professional bodies
Security management experts are also eligible for admission.
Duration
The programme runs on a part-time basis for two semesters (6 months).
