BSU notice on orientation/matriculation of freshmen, 2024/2025

This is to inform the students of the Benue State University that the 328th Meeting of the Senate, held on Friday, 13th June, 2025, considered and approved a revised academic calendar for the First Semester of the 2024/2025 academic session.

2. In line with the revised calendar, the Senate specifically approved Monday, 23rd and Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 for the Orientation and Matriculation Ceremonies of newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic year.

3. Accordingly, all newly admitted candidates, faculties/departments are requested to expedite the ongoing screening and registration processes in preparation for the scheduled matriculation ceremonies.

4. It is important to note that matriculation officially marks the end of admission and registration for the semester. Therefore, any candidate who fails to complete registration on or before Sunday, 22nd June, 2025 shall automatically forfeit their admission.
