BSUM notice on vacation of hostels

Benue State University, Makurdi, at its Emergency meeting which held today Tuesday, 21 February, 2023, has approved the closure of the University

This is sequel to the National Universities Commission's (NUC) directives that all Universities across the Federation be closed down and all academic activities be suspended between Wednesday February, 22 - Tuesday. March 14th 2023, for the General Elections.

Following this directives from NUC and the Federal Ministry of Education, all Students of the University are to vacate from Hostels and go home on or before Wednesday, 22 February, 2023, by 4.00pm.

You are to vacate the hostels with all your personal effects or belongings because the University WILL NOT take responsibilities of any missing items(s),

Porters/Portresses are to ensure that Hostels are locked by 4:00pm same day.

The above directives is hereby conveyed to you for your compliance, please.
