BUK notice on Eid el-Fitr break

The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, 12th and Thursday, 13th May, 2021 as public holidays for Eid el-Fitr. Therefore, members of the University community should observe the holidays as well.

However, staff on shift duty, emergency or essential services in various units will report for duty as usual.

Work resumes on Friday, 14th May, 2021.

The Vice-Chancellor and the University Management, while wishing all members of the University community a successful Sallah celebration and Allah's blessings, urge them to continue to uphold the teachings of the Holy month of Ramadan for a peaceful and prosperous nation.
