BUK commences hostel accommodation application, 2025/2026

This is to inform all students of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) that the online application for hostel accommodation for the 2025/2026 academic session will commence today, Tuesday, 5th May, 2026.

​All interested students are strongly enjoined to strictly follow the laid down procedure as clearly outlined on the flier attached to this circular and displayed at all faculty notice boards, halls of residence, and the university website.

​KEY INSTRUCTIONS:

​Visit the official BUK hostel application on https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/eHostel

​Log in with your valid student registration details.

​Follow the step-by-step guidelines on the flier – do not skip any stage.

​Make payment only through the approved university Remita channel.

​Print your acknowledgment slip upon successful completion.

​IMPORTANT NOTES:

​a. No cash payment will be accepted at any office or bank counter.

b. Only students who follow the prescribed procedure will be considered for allocation.

c. Any deviation from the steps on the flier, including submitting applications through unofficial agents or third parties, will lead to automatic disqualification.

​Students are advised to act promptly, as accommodation is limited and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis in accordance with university guidelines.
