BUK merges mid-semester break with Christmas/New Year Holiday

The Management of Bayero University, Kano wishes to inform all students of an important adjustment to the Second Semester calendar.

The University has approved the shelving of the mid-semester break and merging it with the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Consequently, students will commence the Christmas and New Year break on 22nd December, 2025 and are required to resume on 10th January, 2026 rather than 3rd January, 2026. This extended period serves as compensation for the cancelled mid-semester break.

Students are advised to take note of this adjustment and comply accordingly.
